Technical Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion and Sales Growth Technical Consultation:

• Provide accurate technical information and product recommendations to clients.

• Understand and explain product specifications, applications, benefits, and installation requirements.

• Interpret architectural drawings and project specifications to identify appropriate product solutions.

• Advise clients on product selection based on roof design, lighting requirements, ventilation, aesthetics, and functionality.

• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations where required.

• Liaise with technical, installation, stores, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.

• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process and where necessary after installation.

Relationship and Pipeline Management

Manage clients’ deals through every stage of the sales pipeline—from initial pitch and quotation to final delivery while maintaining lasting relationships with project managers, foremen, and contractors by:

• Building long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Following up on enquiries, quotations, pending orders, and repeat business opportunities.

• Understanding customer needs and provide responsive, professional solutions.

• Handling client questions and concerns effectively while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

• Generating referrals and identify opportunities for repeat and additional sales.
