Delete your data

You can have your Ajirika account and the data attached to it deleted. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason.

How to ask

Any one of these is enough:

• Send DELETE MY DATA from your registered WhatsApp number to the Ajirika WhatsApp line.
• Use our contact form with the subject Delete my data.
• Email privacy@ajirika.com from the address on your account.

We confirm the request comes from you — by the WhatsApp number or the email address on the account — before we delete anything, so that nobody else can erase your account.

What gets deleted

• Your account: name, email, password hash, phone and WhatsApp number.
• Your profile: headline, summary, skills, experience, education, certifications.
• Every CV you uploaded and every CV, cover letter and application email we generated for you, including the stored files.
• Your job matches, alert history and queued alerts.
• Interview practice sessions, salary briefings, career-path and reference material.
• Your WhatsApp conversation records on our side.

What we have to keep, and why

• Applications already sent. Once an employer has your application, it is in their hands — we cannot reach into their inbox. We keep a minimal record that it was sent. To have it removed, contact that employer.
• Payment records. Accounting and tax rules require us to keep invoices and payment references for a set period. These are kept separately from your profile.
• Abuse and security records. Where we need them to stop fraud or protect other users.

How long it takes

We act within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We confirm by email or WhatsApp when it is done. Alerts stop immediately on request — you do not have to wait for the deletion to finish.
