These terms cover your use of Ajirika. By creating an account or messaging us on WhatsApp, you agree to them.

What Ajirika does

We collect job vacancies from employers and public sources, match them to your profile, help you produce a CV and cover letter for a specific role, send you alerts, and can email an application on your behalf. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription.

Who can use it

You must be old enough to work lawfully where you live, and at least 16. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

Your CV and profile remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them in order to run the service described above, including sending them to employers when you apply. You confirm that what you tell us about your experience and qualifications is true.

What we generate for you

Read it before you send it. CVs, cover letters, application emails and interview material are produced with AI assistance. They can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for checking accuracy before an employer sees it — it is your name on the document.

Job listings

Most vacancies come from employers and third-party sources. We work to keep them current and to remove expired ones, but we do not control them and cannot guarantee that a listing is accurate, still open, or genuine. Never pay anyone for a job offer, and tell us if a listing looks fraudulent.

No guarantee of employment

Ajirika improves how you find and apply for work. It cannot promise interviews, offers or employment, and a subscription does not buy a job.

Subscriptions and payment

Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the subscription page before you pay.
Paid features are metered — each plan has limits, shown in the app.
Payments are taken through mobile-money and card providers. We do not store your full card or mobile-money credentials.
A subscription runs to the end of its paid period. Because AI features are consumed immediately, usage already taken is not refundable. If something failed and you were charged, contact us and we will put it right.

WhatsApp messages

Alerts are opt-in. Reply STOP to end them at any moment. Do not use the WhatsApp line to send unlawful content or to abuse our staff or systems.

Acceptable use

Do not: impersonate anyone; upload someone else's CV as your own; scrape or resell our listings; attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems; or use Ajirika to send spam or run a scam. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Ending your use

You may close your account at any time — see Data deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of a paid period.

Liability

Ajirika is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings or a missed opportunity arising from a listing, an application, or a generated document. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and we will tell you directly about anything significant. Continuing to use Ajirika after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
