Lead – Digital Growth, Engagement & Retention

Role Overview

• SPIRO is seeking a highly driven Lead – Digital Growth, Engagement & Retention to lead customer growth strategies, engagement initiatives, and retention programs across multiple African markets. The role will focus on enhancing user acquisition, activation, lifecycle engagement, and long-term customer value through data-driven marketing and product-led growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital growth strategies to increase user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

• Design customer lifecycle programs to improve onboarding, activation, and long-term adoption.

• Lead CRM, loyalty, referral, and rewards programs.

• Analyze customer behavior and identify growth opportunities across customer segments.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Data teams to launch growth initiatives.

• Define and track customer engagement KPIs, retention metrics, and campaign performance.

• Leverage marketing automation tools to personalize customer journeys.

• Drive A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization initiatives.

• Build and manage a high-performing growth team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
