Associate Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities

Administration of Benefits and Entitlements

• Supervises the work of the Human Resources Assistants in carrying out administrative transactions, including onboarding, offboarding, contract extensions, leave entitlements, salaries, benefits and entitlements.

• Monitors timely implementation of movement of staff, including onboarding and offboarding.

• Ensures accurate implementation of contract extensions, while providing advice on exceptional approval, as applicable.

• Reviews monthly payroll lock report and takes necessary actions to ensure appropriate salary payment.

• Reviews Special Post Allowance and Education Grant requests.

• Reviews cases for exceptions to rules and policies and ensures adherence to the delegation of authority framework.

HR Policy and Advisory Support

• Acts as the focal point in SBE for staff members in client offices and establishes collaborative relationships with the clients, administrative offices, and other service delivery units to ensure open channels of communication and a client-oriented approach.

• Responds to staff members’ and client offices’ inquiries regarding contracts, salaries, entitlements, and benefits.
