Junior Associate II (Legal)

The successful candidate will be supporting the Senior Associate in managing client relationships, delivering quality service, and ensuring assignments are completed on time and within budget. It requires effective communication, teamwork, sound judgment, ethical conduct, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the Senior Associate in handling commercial and litigation matters, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, understand their needs, and respond promptly to requests for legal assistance.

• Conduct legal research, analyse relevant legislation and case law, and prepare sound, practical legal advice for clients.

• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, pleadings, opinions, and other legal correspondence.

• Support the preparation and management of litigation matters, including court documents, case files, and other relevant legal records.

• Ensure compliance with the firm’s policies, professional standards, ethical requirements, and client confidentiality obligations.
