The National Assembly of Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (x2)

a. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and co-ordination of the annual Institutional budget for inclusion into the National Budget;

• Assisting in the mobilization of funding from the Treasury for Personal Emoluments, RDCs Operations and Constituency Offices;

• Assisting in the reconciliation of the funding position by producing reports on the funding performance of the Institution by consolidating the budget against funding received and the variance analysis for Personal Emoluments, RDC’s and Constituency Offices;

• Assisting in the General liaison and public relations with the National Assembly desk office held at the Ministry of Finance;
