The National Assembly of Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT I (x3)

a. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, record, and reconcile daily cash collections;

• Process deposits and ensure timely banking of funds;

• Prepare payment vouchers, ensuring proper approval and audit compliance;

• Preparing and updating the backing sheeting for bank use;

• Assist in the reconciliation of bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of all ledger postings;

• Prepare and reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts;

• Filing payment vouchers and following up with documentation on advance payments;

• Undertaking bank errands; and

• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

b. Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate;
