Job Description
Job title: Site Controller/ Junior Accountant Department: Finance Reports to: Finance Manager Application deadline: 15th October 2026

Job purpose

To support the day-to-day accounting and financial activities at the project site, ensuring that transactions are properly recorded, supported, and reported in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

•

Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records at the site.

•

Prepare and maintain records of site expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.

•

Check and verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents before processing payments.

•

Assist in preparing payment requests and other financial documents for site expenses.

•

Maintain proper records of petty cash and ensure all expenses are properly supported.

•

Reconcile petty cash and other site-related accounts on a regular basis.

•

Assist in monitoring site purchases and ensure they are supported by approved documentation.

•

Follow up on outstanding invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

•

Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports for the site.

•

Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.

•

Assist with stock, inventory, and material reconciliation where required.
