The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate salary payments, full compliance with Ugandan statutory requirements, meticulous record-keeping, and responsive support to employee payroll inquiries. The position plays a critical role in

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Accurately compute and process monthly payroll for all employees, including wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and allowances
- Validate payroll inputs, reconcile net pay monthly, and ensure error-free processing
- Manage payroll for a diverse workforce including frontline staff, functional staff, and management
Statutory Compliance
- Calculate, deduct, and remit all statutory contributions, including PAYE, NSSF (Social Security), withholding tax, and any other mandated deductions in compliance with Ugandan labor laws
- Ensure proper employee registration with URA (Uganda Revenue Authority) and NSSF
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax regulations and labor laws
