Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for students in Year 7 to Year 11, aligned with the school's curriculum and academic standards.

• Develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, teamwork, discipline and understanding of healthy and active lifestyles.

• Design and implement practical lessons that cater to students with different abilities, interests and levels of physical development.

• Prepare and administer assessments to monitor students' physical development, skills and understanding of Physical Education concepts.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment that encourages active participation and promotes sportsmanship.

• Organise and support extracurricular sporting activities, including school teams, clubs, competitions and inter-school events.

• Identify and nurture students with sporting talent and support their development through appropriate training and coaching.
