The Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) was established in 1988 as a Trust under the Trustees Incorporation Act (Cap. 5:03) to procure, store, distribute and sell fertilizer to smallholder farmers across the country. The primary mandate of the Fund is to ensure that smallholder farmers have continuous access to affordable fertilizer at all times.

To effectively deliver on this mandate, the Fund is now inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates of Malawian origin to fill the following vacant positions:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Senior Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring strategic plans to achieve the Fund’s goals and objectives.

The role involves analyzing market trends, competitive intelligence and internal data to recommend strategies for the Fund. The Senior Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will work closely with senior management to align planning efforts with the overall strategic direction and ensure the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of SFFRFM’s strategic plan and business objectives.

The role will also involve undertaking commodity demand analysis and projections for SFFRFM products for each growing season and periodically, as required.
