Team Leader – Sales Engineer

Our client, a company operating in the electrical engineering and power solutions sector, is seeking a technically competent and commercially driven Team Leader – Sales Engineer to lead its sales team and drive revenue growth across electrical switchboards, Low Voltage (LV) systems and transformers (TX).

The successful candidate will combine strong electrical engineering knowledge with technical sales expertise, business development capabilities and team leadership skills. The role requires someone who can understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate engineering solutions, develop commercial opportunities and lead the sales process from lead generation to order conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the Sales Engineering team to achieve sales targets.

• Drive sales revenue, customer acquisition and business growth.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical equipment and engineering solutions.

• Prepare and review technical proposals, quotations and solution designs.

• Present and explain technical products and solutions to clients.

• Collaborate with technical, production, projects, tendering and commercial teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Identify new markets, business opportunities and strategic customers.
