JOB TITLE: FILTER PLATE TECHNICIAN – KITWE, ZAMBIA
We’re looking for a Filter Plate Technician to join our PSE – Repairs team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for refurbishing Larox PF filter plates and associated filtration components to ensure they meet operational, safety and OEM standards before being returned to customers. Your work will play a key part in keeping our customers’ operations running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
You will report to the Supervisor.
This role is based in Kitwe, Zambia.
Team you belong to
You will join the PSE – Repairs team and work closely with other internal staff who are committed to delivering quality repairs and reliable customer support.
What you’ll do
- Repair Larox PF filter plates and filtration components, including resurfacing, pin replacement, inlet and outlet replacement, edge repair, chemical cleaning and plugging.
- Perform stainless steel CO2 welding, cutting, grinding and location pin repairs.
- Assemble and reassemble components to OEM specifications and fit and assemble metal parts and tools.
- Operate hydraulic test rigs, polishing equipment, heating equipment and other mechanical workshop tools to restore damaged plates to acceptable standards.
- Use measuring equipment and fixed and portable workshop tools to complete repairs accurately.
