Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer - Candidate Profile
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of server infrastructure, virtual environments, network security solutions, and ICT hardware. The role requires hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, network administration, cybersecurity, and hardware management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
- Create, manage, and monitor virtual machines using platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Proxmox.
- Perform server patching, updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning.
- Monitor server performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
- Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and remote access services.
- Configure and maintain firewall rules, VPN solutions, and network security controls.
- Monitor security events and respond to infrastructure-related incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, storage systems, desktops, laptops, and related ICT equipment.
- Manage ICT asset inventories and lifecycle processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and operating procedures.
