JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

The Cost
Controller must demonstrate exceptional skill and efficiency in maintaining
inventory levels, processing purchase orders as required, tracking orders, and
investigating variances. By working collaboratively with other departments, the
Cost Controller ensures accurate inventory usage, analyzes costs, and assesses
vendor relationships to maximize profitability and eliminate losses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accountability for Mama Ashanti

inventory by analyzing inventory movement reports and investigating variances.

• Participate in daily physical stock counts for

both the Kitchen and Bar.

• Check, verify, and report voids in the POS

systems.

• Check, verify, and report discounts on the POS

systems.

• Analyze cost of sales and highlight anomalies.

• Validate weekly inventory requisitions

(compared to system on-hand stock) before purchases are made.

• Ensure all purchases of inventory and

consumables recorded in Back Office System (Hotsoft) are accurately captured
and classified in the accounting application (Quickbooks).
