Clinical Nurse, Medical/Surgical Ward (4 Positions)
Summary of the Role
- Reporting to the Nurse Manager – Medical/Surgical Ward, the successful candidate will be expected to provide safe and competent general nursing care for Medical/Surgical Patients, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nursing Council of Kenya regulations, treat patients with dignity, respect their privacy, be involved in decision making related to their care and maintain safe practice and environment.
- Complete head-to-toe assessment and re-assessment of patients to identify their care needs and utilize the Hospital’s quality nursing processes in planning and executing care for patients/clients.
- Develop written care plans based on patients’ needs, as well as monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Carry out hemodynamic monitoring to include vital signs, neurological and fluid status, labs, and radiological evaluations.
