Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenditure, receipts, payments, and supporting documentation.

• Daily Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to support management decision-making and financial planning.

• Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, cash, and mobile money reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor supplier payments, outstanding balances, student fee collections, and other receivables, ensuring timely follow-up and proper documentation.

• Budget Monitoring: Assist in preparing and monitoring departmental and branch budgets, highlighting variances and recommending appropriate corrective measures.

• Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Support timely preparation and submission of statutory deductions, tax records, and other financial compliance requirements in line with applicable regulations.
