Job Description

The Software Developer Intern will support the company’s technology function in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal systems, including HR, payroll, finance, and client reporting tools. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking practical experience in software development, database management, and business technology solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior developers.

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in line with agreed coding standards.

• Support the development and maintenance of internal systems, including HR, payroll, finance, and client management tools.

• Assist in designing and managing databases, and in preparing data for reports and dashboards.

• Help identify, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs and system issues.

• Support system integration work, including APIs and data exchange between applications.

• Assist in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance activities before system releases.

• Prepare and update technical documentation, user guides, and system manuals.

• Provide basic technical support to staff and help train users on new systems and features.

• Support the application of data protection and information security practices in line with company policy and applicable laws.

• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum GPA: Upper Second Class (3.5 out of 5.0) or above, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
