Akiba Commercial Bank Plc (ACB) is recruiting a Senior Manager – Human Resources to lead its human resources strategy, strengthen workforce management and support organizational performance. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The bank is seeking an experienced HR professional with strong leadership, strategic planning and people-management skills. Applicants must have at least seven years of human resources experience, including three years in a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager – Human Resources will provide strategic leadership across the bank’s people-management functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing human resources strategies aligned with the bank’s business objectives.
•
Leading talent acquisition, workforce planning and succession management.
•
Driving performance management, employee engagement and organizational culture.
•
Overseeing employee relations, compensation, benefits and compliance with labour laws.
•
Championing employee learning, leadership development and talent retention.
•
Providing strategic human resources advisory support to management.
The role combines strategic HR planning with responsibility for employee development, regulatory compliance and effective workforce management.
