About the role

The HR Business Lead works directly with the Chief People Officer on strategic, board-level, and governance work, while also owning the administrative and reporting backbone of the office. This is a high-visibility role combining executive support, strategic communications, HR reporting, and hands-on project coordination. The person will use AI tools to automate routine work wherever possible, freeing time for higher-value strategic contributions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Chief People Officer’s (CPO) calendar and travel, including expense submission, using scheduling tools to reduce manual work.

• Handle approvals on behalf of the CPO, including timesheets, Workday, and Business World approvals, and act as point of contact for signing authority matters.

• Research and turn verbal direction or short briefs into board-ready decks, memos, and analyses, using AI to draft and then refining for final quality.

• Coordinate board and governance materials, pulling input from HR, Legal, and any relevant stakeholders, tracking versions, and meeting deadlines , etc.

• Own HR Leadership Team meetings: scheduling, agendas, minutes, and tracking action items between meetings.

• Provide insights from the recurring HR metrics report for HR Leadership Team, covering headcount, turnover, time to fill, engagement, and compensation ratios. Build ad hoc reports where relevant.
