Lecturer, Journalism & Mass Communication
Qualification
Must have:
- PhD in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification from a recognized academic institution.
- Master’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification from a recognized academic institution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification from a recognized academic institution
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience in a recognized Academic Institution of higher learning.
- Be registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable)
Key responsibilities also include
Reporting to the Head, Journalism & Mass Communication
Duties and responsibilities
- Participate in curriculum development and review.
- Prepare a course outline to guide the effective delivery and coverage of the syllabus.
- Develop learning content to ensure adequate coverage of the course outline.
