OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

• Assist HME with the handling and management of tool keeping while working closely with the supervisor and resource coordinators to support effective maintenance of resources.

• Support the issuing, receiving, inspection and planned auditing of tools, and prepare shift reports for submission to the supervisor.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Inspect tools for cracks, damage or defects and record findings accurately.

• Maintain daily tool database control and proper records of tools in the tool keeping room and tools issued to employees.

• Track and report tool shortages and maintain records of tools not returned or lost.

• Support effective tool issue and return processes to maintain resource availability.

• Maintain good housekeeping standards and meet work delivery deadlines within required timeframes.
