Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and/or modifying system architecture to meet specific business needs. For this purpose, the role will be required to gather requirements and functional specifications, assess current products/systems in place, identify gaps and rework product/solution-specific architecture to mitigate the identified gaps. The role will work in close collaboration with the group architects to ensure group mandates are cascaded to OpCo systems and platforms. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager IT Architecture and Data Management

The Solution Architect reports to Manager IT Architecture and Data Management and is an individual contributor. The role maintains liaison with Group Fintech Technology team, MTN Group Technology teams & GSM Opco Technology teams as and when required

• Assist in review of the functional strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with the functional lead, to ensure its alignment with the changing dynamics of the internal and external ecosystem
