Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Associate Software Engineer (Java Programmer) to join our Software Development team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience who are passionate about developing enterprise and mobile applications.
Role Overview
The Associate Software Engineer translates functional requirements into reliable technical implementations. They design and optimize database structures, develop PL/SQL logic, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless software experiences. They act as technical enablers, ensuring that Neptune’s platforms run efficiently, securely, and in alignment with client and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Database Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, and triggers
- Build and optimize SQL queries to ensure maximum performance and reliability
Technical Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyse business and system requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions
- Mobile UI/UX principles
- Mobile application integration with REST APIs
Database Administration
- Execute backups, restores, data migration, and general database maintenance
- Monitor database health and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
