This role is responsible for securing panel inclusions, optimizing business volume from existing insurance partners, resolving service delivery bottlenecks, and identifying high-potential retail locations for expansion.

Role Overview
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
- Insurance & Corporate Partnership Growth
● Secure and maintain Optica’s inclusion on the panels of all optical insurance providers, corporate in-house medical schemes, and parastatal organizations across Uganda.
● Develop tailored growth strategies for existing insurance partners based on ground realities, localized market dynamics, and customer demographics to maximize monthly volume.
● Build direct relationships with corporate HR and wellness leads to drive brand visibility and exclusive optical coverage partnerships.
- Operational Excellence & Service Delivery Alignment
● Monitor and resolve service delivery gaps between Optica and insurance support teams, focusing on pre-authorization Turnaround Times (TATs) and member query resolution.
● Serve as the primary escalation link to streamline processing workflows, ensuring high-grade service delivery and minimal friction for insured members.
● Coordinate with internal finance and operations teams to guarantee seamless claim processing, accurate billing, and timely payment collection.
- Retail Network Expansion & Location Intelligence
● Support retail network growth by assessing real estate dynamics, foot traffic potential, and demographic feasibility for new store locations in Kampala and secondary cities.
