Role Description The Country Director at StayOwn will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all activities in Rwanda, with a primary base in Kigali. This part-time hybrid role requires regular presence in the Kigali office combined with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting country-level goals, overseeing program planning and execution, and ensuring alignment with StayOwn’s global strategy and standards. The Country Director will manage local partnerships, represent the organization with key stakeholders and authorities, and lead business development and fundraising efforts. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, guiding risk management, and leading and mentoring a small cross-functional team to achieve measurable impact.
