World Vision is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programmes in 30 Districts of Rwanda. Our interventions in the strategic period of 2026-2030 seek to reach 2.5 million of the most vulnerable children. This is done through programming in Child Protection, Education, Nutrition and WASH, and Poverty Alleviation (Resilience and Livelihoods).
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced Rwandan national for the role of Resource Development Manager , joining an established and experienced team. This stimulating position incorporates a range of skills and development in multiple areas, allowing for an exciting opportunity for career growth in a dynamic, global organization. It will be based in Kigali at the Head Office and will report to the National Director.

Purpose of the position

The Resource Development Manager provides strategic leadership and overall accountability for World Vision Rwanda's resource mobilization and external engagement agenda. The position leads the development and implementation of strategies that secure sustainable and diversified funding, strengthen organizational positioning, and advance strategic relationships that contribute to the achievement of World Vision Rwanda's Strategic Objectives. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Manager provides organizational leadership on resource acquisition, donor engagement, funding diversification, business development, and market positioning across institutional, private sector, philanthropic, and domestic funding streams. The role ensures that World Vision Rwanda is strategically positioned within the development landscape, influences key stakeholders, and secures the resources required to deliver sustainable impact for vulnerable children, families, and communities. The Manager serves as a principal advisor to the National Director and Senior Leadership Team on donor trends, development financing, external relations, strategic opportunities, and organizational growth priorities.
