Call for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Applications for Capacity Building on Anti-discrimination Programming and Advocacy
Job Description
Capacity Building on Anti-Discrimination Programming and Advocacy
Application deadline: October 3rd, 2026
Rwanda Bridges to Justice (RBJ) , in partnership with International Bridges to Justice (IBJ) and others, is implementing the European Union-funded Empowering Voices: Fostering Equality and Combating Discrimination in Rwanda project.
RBJ invites registered local NGOs and civil society networks to apply for a practical capacity-building programme. This is a training opportunity, not a funding call. It is intended to strengthen the impact of anti-discrimination efforts in programmes that organisations are already implementing and to increase their advocacy capacity to establish effective mechanisms for preventing discrimination.
- Purpose and expected results
- Identify discrimination risks and barriers, and integrate equality safeguards into programme design, delivery, monitoring and learning.
- Develop or improve practical prevention, response and referral mechanisms for communities affected by discrimination.
- Strengthen evidence-based advocacy with communities, public institutions and other duty bearers, and prepare organisations for RBJ's forthcoming call for expressions of interest.
- Who should apply
- NGOs or civil society networks registered or otherwise authorised to operate in Rwanda and currently implementing community-based programmes relevant to equality, human rights, justice, gender, youth, inclusive governance, peace and security, or related fields.
