About the Role

Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Driver to support our OK Furniture and House & Home operations in our Non-RSA markets. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering furniture and homeware stock efficiently and safely to our customers, maintaining vehicle equipment, ensuring accurate delivery documentation, and representing our brands on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Delivery & Logistics: Load furniture and homeware products safely and optimally based on outbound delivery schedules. Deliver correct stock on time, assemble goods on-site at customer premises where required, and transport return items back to the Service Centre.

• Documentation & Reconciliations: Perform pre-trip safety checks, reconcile delivery paperwork with loaded stock, ensure customers inspect and sign Proof of Delivery (POD) forms, and submit timesheets and trip sheets accurately.

• Vehicle & Fleet Maintenance: Inspect vehicles daily, execute basic first-line maintenance, conduct petrol/diesel dip readings, keep the vehicle clean, and immediately report damages, defects, or incidents to the Service Centre Controller.

• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to regional road traffic regulations, Service Centre operational safety procedures, and site access protocols. Participate in Health and Safety training and maintain safe working conditions at all times.
