Finance Manager (Reinsurance – Zambia)

ZB Financial Holdings (ZBFH) is inviting applications for the position of Finance Manager for a reinsurance company to be incorporated in Zambia. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee financial reporting and controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitability, cost optimization and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, half-year and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and applicable reporting requirements.

• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring, providing actionable insights to management and the Board.

• Oversee financial accounting, reconciliations, cash flow management, tax compliance and statutory reporting.

• Monitor costs, analyse profitability and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, financial performance and the cost-to-income ratio.

• Evaluate investment proposals, product profitability and new business opportunities to support informed decision-making.

• Strengthen internal controls, manage financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings.
