Finance Manager

Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision-making. The role will provide financial leadership to the organization and work closely with management to support business growth, profitability, budgeting, cash flow management, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the organization.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial performance and provide management with meaningful financial insights.
• Monitor revenue, expenditure, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.

• Prepare management reports, financial statements, and financial analysis as required.

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor actual performance against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.

• Provide recommendations to management on cost control and financial optimization.

• Develop financial projections to support business planning and strategic decisions.

• Monitor departmental spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Monitor the organization's cash flow and working capital requirements.

• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts.

• Ensure timely payments to suppliers, employees, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders.

• Monitor receivables and payables and support effective working capital management.

• Maintain appropriate controls over company cash and bank accounts.

• Manage banking relationships and banking transactions where required.

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial legislation.

• Coordinate tax filings and ensure statutory financial obligations are met on time.

• Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

• Ensure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
