Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.
Pharmacist
Job Description
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Bachelors of Pharmacy Degree (B Pharm) from a institution recognized by Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Successful completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution.
- Registration Certificate by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Medical Officers
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (M.BCh.B.) degree from a recognized University.
- Minimum of B+ Mean Grade at KCSE
- Successfully completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution.
- Registration Certificate from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council (KMPDC).
- Valid practicing license from KMPDC
- Training and knowledge in BLS, ACLS and ATLS are added advantages
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution is an added advantage
Registered Clinical Officer II
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery or clinical medicine and community health from a recognised institution
- Certificate of registration from the clinical officer’s council
- Valid practising licence from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Kenya Registered Nurse II
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
- Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; and
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Public Health Officer
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Bachelors’ degree in Environmental Health or Public Health from a recognized Institution.
- Certificate of competence from the Association of Public Health Officers
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution is an added advantage
Pharmaceutical Technologist III
Requirements for Appointment
- Diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Minimum of C+ (Plus) in KCSE
- Registration certificate and valid practicing license from Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
Nursing Officer
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in either Nursing or Midwifery from a recognized institution;
- Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya; and
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Laboratory Technologist I
Requirements for Appointments
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
- Valid practicing Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board
- Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
- Certificate in computer Application Skills from a recognized institution is an added advantage
Assistant Health Records and Information Management Officer
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized institution
- Registration certificate and valid practicing license from Health Records Information Board
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution
Mortuary Attendant III
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Certificate in Mortician Course lasting not less than six (6) months from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in computer application skills; and
- shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
Economist I / Statistician I
Requirements for appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics or its equivalence from a recognized University/Institution.
Deputy Director of Administration
Requirement for Appointment:
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines, Public Administration; Business Administration/Management; Community Development; or any other social science from a recognized institution.
- Must satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Senior management course from a recognized institution may be preferred.
- Minimum of eight years (8) of experience
- Performing any other duty as may be delegate from time to time
