Responsibilities
The Accountant Intern will assist the finance team in daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Key responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping & Records: Assist in maintaining accurate day-to-day financial transactions, posting entries, and organizing accounting records.
- Reconciliations & Support: Support periodic bank and supplier reconciliations, process invoices, and handle petty cash documentation.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain proper filing systems for financial documents, tax records, and audit trails to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Administrative Duties: Assist the finance department with general office administration, reporting preparations, and cross-functional support as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, and familiarity with modern accounting software or ERP systems.
- Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
