Job descriptions & requirements
Perform routine and specialized X-ray and ultrasound examinations as requested by authorized clinicians.
•
Obtain accurate patient history and relevant clinical information before examinations.
•
Prepare patients appropriately and explain procedures clearly to ensure cooperation and comfort.
•
Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols.
•
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by qualified medical practitioners/radiologists.
•
Operate, maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of radiology and ultrasound equipment.
•
Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage and confidentiality of patient images and records.
•
Observe radiation protection and safety measures for patients, staff and visitors.
