Position Summary

SwiftAxis Limited is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations at our Kampala Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency.

The Warehouse Manager will lead warehouse personnel, optimize warehouse processes, implement best practices, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse activities.

• Ensure efficient receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.

• Maintain optimal warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency.

• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Conduct routine cycle counts and periodic stock audits.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
